Unlike many other Single Serve Coffee brands, Keurig has teamed up with a popular kitchen appliance brand to provide customers with the option to buy a specially-designed Cuisinart-Keurig Single-Cup Coffee machine. Coupled with the familiarity of Cuisinart and the reliability of Keurig, the Cuisinart brewing system is very attractive. It offers different features than the standard Keurig Single Serve Brewing Systems, which allows consumers to further customize their coffee experience.
For comparison, the Cuisinart-Keurig Brewing System is most similar to the Keurig Platinum Brewing System (Keurig B70). The Cuisinart Brewing System starts at $199.00, making it one of the most expensive Keurig designs out there. There’s a good reason for this. The Cuisinart Coffee Brewer is one of the most feature-packed single serve coffee brewers currently on the market.
For starters, the Cuisinart Single-Cup Coffee Maker is not for those with small spaces. This system is 2 inches higher and 7 inches wider than the Keurig B70. It’s important to make sure this brewer can fit wherever you want to put it!
On the plus side, the Keurig-Cuisinart System is so big because it has a whopping 80-ounce water reservoir. The only other Keurig with a reservoir that big is the large commercial single serve coffee brewer, the Keurig B155. With so much water storage, the average consumer will get almost 14 cups of coffee out of the brewer before they need to refill the reservoir.

Surprisingly enough, the Cuisinart-Keurig Single Serve Brewing System uses much less electricity than the Keurig Platinum Single Cup Brewer or even the Special Edition Brewing System (Keurig B60) . Just as the same with other Keurig Brewers, the Cuisinart-Keurig Single Serve Brewer can almost instantaneously prepare a cup of coffee for you once the initial 4-minute setup is complete and all Keurig K Cup varieties are compatible with this single-serving system.
A test of the Cuisinart Coffee Maker and the Keurig Platinum Brewer found a few key differences in their design. Very tall mugs that fit in the Keurig B70 Coffee Brewer do not fit into the Cuisinart-Keurig Coffee Brewer. Upon further inspection we found that the Cuisinart-Keurig Coffeemaker had a quarter-inch difference in the distance between the spout and bottom of the unit. Also, the Cuisinart-Keurig Brewing System comes complete with a My K-Cup while the Keurig B70 Single-Cup Brewer does not.
When choosing between the Cuisinart and the other available Keurig models, it’s important to weigh your priorities. For a smaller price, you can get a less expensive Keurig model with a smaller water reservoir that has the same brewing power and fits into a smaller space. However, if not having to fill the water reservoir everyday is important to you, then we recommend the larger Cuisinart-Keurig Single-Serving Coffee Maker.
